Responsibility for Data Protection
The Controller under data protection law (Art. 4 (7) General Data Protection Regulation or “GDPR”) responsible for data processing in connection with the use of the www.eks-salzburg.at website is EKS Handelsgesellschaft m.b.H.& Co. KG (hereinafter also referred to as “EKS” or “we”). You will find our contact details at the end of this Statement.
In technical terms, EKS commissions a Processor (Art. 4 (8) GDPR), SPAR Business Services GmbH. If we use additional commissioned processors in connection with individual data processing operations, their respective details are referenced in the following text.

Contact requests by e-mail or by phone (“Customer Service Management”)
Purpose
If you contact us by e-mail or telephone, we will collect and process your name, your contact details, details of the issue you are contacting us about and, if applicable, any data you provide to us in documents you upload with or attach to the request. The purpose of the data processing is to respond to your contact request (“Customer Service Management”).
Legal basis
The data is processed for the implementation of (pre-)contractual measures (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR) or on the basis of EKS's legitimate interest in communicating with website users (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
Storage / erasure
EKS will erase or anonymise your personal data as soon as they are no longer required for the purposes for which they were collected and processed, and unless other legal obligations stipulate further storage. Proof and retention obligations derive in particular from provisions of corporate, stock corporation, tax and money-laundering legislation. In addition, EKS retains personal data necessary for any assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims and for enforcement thereof in official or judicial proceedings. In such cases, data will be retained until the relevant limitation periods have expired or until the legally binding conclusion of the proceedings.
